Eligibility criteria for Admission

Admissions to all the courses except M.C.A. are made purely on the basis of merit, following the reservation policy and the norms as prescribed by the Government of Tamilnadu.

For M.C.A. course the admissions are made as per the Government of Tamilnadu special rules based on the marks obtained by the candidates at the common entrances tests and on the state level counselling process as stipulated by the AICTE.

Admission Policy and Process

The students are admitted to all the courses as per the following reservation policy of the Government of Tamilnadu:

Among each of these categories the women students are given 30% share. Further, a special reservation of 3% for physically challenged and 3% for athletes and sports persons are also available so as to create access to them in the admission.

Merit list, selection list and waiting lists are prepared with the help of computers by the respective Heads of the Departments and are published both in the college and in the Departmental notice boards.

The entire admission process of the college is transparent, which leaves no scope for any complaint from any quarters.
