Being an Autonomous College, the Institution frames the syllabi with the help of duly nominated Boards of Studies as per UGC norms.

The college conducts Examinations and the Bharathiar University issues Degrees based on the results of examinations conducted by the college.

Choice Based Credit System is followed from the academic year 2000-2001. This system is used to assess the skill and knowledge of students.

Examinations are conducted as Continuous Internal Assessment and Comprehensive Assessment. These examinations carry 25% and 75% marks respectively.

Under Graduate students should score a minimum of 40% of marks in each subject and Post Graduate students should score a minimum of 50% of marks in each subject for a Pass.

Classification:

First Class                   -           60% or more.
Second Class             -           50% to 59%.
Third Class                  -           40% to 49%.(for UG only)

Re-appearance, improvement ( only  in subsequent Semester ), transparency ( issue of Xerox copy of answer books), re-totalling and re-evaluation facilities could be availed.
